’ve bought hundreds of fake flowers… but OULI’s Austin Rose finally made me do a double-take!

Okay, let’s be honest for a second. I used to be the biggest hater of artificial flowers.

Every time I tried to save money and buy those cheap “real touch” roses from chain stores, I ended up regretting it. They always looked so flat in the photos. Up close, the petals looked like shiny plastic wrapping paper, and no matter how I arranged them, they screamed “FAKE!”.

I’d given up on keeping flowers in my living room entirely, because nobody has time to change out wilted fresh roses every three days.

Then, this little box from OULI arrived on my doorstep last week.

I have to admit, I was skeptical. But the moment I pulled this Austin Rose out of the packaging, I actually gasped.

I don’t know what kind of magic they used with that “latex coating,” but it literally feels like a soft, cool, just-misted petal. It has this incredible weight to it, not that flimsy, stiff fabric you usually get.

Real Touch Asutin Rose Stem

But what really blew my mind was the SHAPE.

If you’ve ever worked with real English garden roses, you know they have that incredibly dense, layered center. OULI actually nailed it. The 8cm flower head is so fat and luscious, and the 61cm stem is just the perfect length. It’s not one of those skimpy single-stem flowers; it has these beautiful, detailed green leaves that make it look like it was just plucked from a real garden.

My little styling moment:
I grabbed my favorite vintage ceramic vase, trimmed the stem just a tiny bit, and placed three of these roses in there. Guys, the depth of the petals makes it look like a completely fresh arrangement! It honestly looks so good on my coffee table that my friends asked if I hired a florist.

Why I think this is a total change:

  • For brides-to-be: If you’re looking for a hand-tied bouquet that will survive the entire wedding day without wilting or bruising, these would be a dream. They photograph beautifully because the layered center adds so much dimension.

  • For retail & shop owners: These are the roses you want in your window display. They look incredibly premium up close, which instantly elevates your brand.

  • For busy girls like me: No watering, no falling petals, no guilt. Just pure aesthetic joy, 365 days a year.

I’m officially obsessed and already planning my next order with OULI. If you’ve been looking for a way to add that high-end, luxury floral touch to your home (or your wedding) without the headache of fresh flowers, do yourself a favor and check these out.
